Flash in the Can – Date Change

I was just informed that Flash in the Can will now be held from Saturday, April 9, 2005 to Monday, April 11, 2005. This at least avoids a direct overlap with Flash Forward, and makes it possible to attend both in full. I’ve pretty much decided on attending Flash in the Can at this point. I’ve been to three Flash Forwards, but never a FiTC. Gotta check it out. I’ll be submitting a proposal to speak and have been all but guaranteed that it will be accepted. If you’re attending and have anything in particular you’d like me to babble on about, let me know.

I’ve got it! You need to talk on “How to live without an Xbox, but yet still be addicted to Halo” 🙂

somehow i equate the possibility of my getting an xbox with the possibility of getting a nasty divorce. i’ll wait for the pc version. 😉

    Hey Keith
Look forward to having you here in Toronto!
A few random thoughts on subjects

    1) Future trends
-Flash 8 and any new creative or business opportunities it allows
-learning: as a designer developer I’m often faced with the question of where to focus my time, should I be developing Flex apps (considering the cost, I personally don’t think its a worthwhile use of my time but would love to hear your feedback), working with Flash com or simply focusing on becoming totally proficient in AS2

    2) Collaboration
How to collaborate and share code most efficiently.

    3)Inspiration
Where do you get your inspiration from?
For me its mostly from work and people working in other related areas, ie processing, java, tangible computing, installation video, etc.

    All the best
