Coming in January…

Some cool new features, like premium widgets, a web radio player, 2GB of free storage space for every registered user, an activities timeline, shared documents and history, etc.
I’ve been using NetVibes for I don’t know how long. (OK, it looks like for almost 2 years.) I’ve tried some other things, but always come back to NetVibes. It keeps getting better. I can honestly say it has changed the way I use the web. Looking forward to these new updates. Wonder if I can figure out a way to get on the private beta. 🙂 (hello, netvibes people, you listenin?)
I saw the update on the netvibes blog today too. It looks like there will be some pretty cool updates. That being said, I don’t know how I feel about the social aspects of it, I kind of like the idea of netvibes being a feed / widget manager and leave specific tasks to the guys that specialize in them. I like reading reading and submitting to twitter from netvibes, I like getting updates from my facebook etc. I hope if they start developing their own social components they at least built them like widgets and make them optional. I guess I’ll have to wait and see how this stuff is implemented before I start complaining 🙂
The storage space and shared documents could be cool, but I usually use google docs for online document creation.
I’m pretty sure that like most netvibes features, the new stuff will be optional. Use it or not. the more options, the better.
Sweet. I love netvibes. Been using it for about a year. It’s absolutely indispensable when I’m out somewhere, and just want to access all my stuff from some random PC.
There is a facebook group for netvibes users who want to be invited to the private beta.

(there’s already 979 members, I don’t know if there are any chances to be invited, anyway I joined the group)
