Flash 8 would be enough to keep me busy for the next 6 months. Now we have Flash 8.5 player, Zorn, Flex 2, AS3, not to mention everything I’ve been meaning to check out on the land of OSFlash.
All cool stuff, but my head and my schedule can’t take much more.

I hear ya. Too much to play with, too little time.
<homer>Mmmm, built-in delegation.</homer>
yeah, i seriously havent even started digging into flash 8 yet. Flex2 and AS3 look really, really sweet though, so I think I may actually jump on that wagon first.
exactly what i was thinking about
wow. I just checked the language refference for AS3… looks like if you want to convert from as 2.0 its going to be a line by line recode… I’m going to get on board with this one… BUT if there is an AS 4.0 next year… I’m going to find a new line of work. heh
agree!!!!! that’s my 1st impression when As 3 is out!
I second that.. way too much too fast.. Having returned from MAX, I would say the ehphasis was on the Flex Alpha wayy more than the just released Flash. Now the guys who’ve already had and got used to Flash 8 ahead of the losers not on the Beta versions, get to spend time on the alpha of Flex2 while still be figuring out the bitmap api of flash 8..
Too much…I also feel same..
Need to figure out the right priorities..
So much is to do, so little is done, so hurry up… 🙂

It’s almost overwhelming, but I’m going to approach it carefully by making reasonable goals. I want to figure out how I can improve my existing workflow by using Flex and ARP together. I also want to build a demo app with solid accessibility features so I can show it to clients in the government.
