BIT-101 Ripoffs

It happens to the best of us. You do something cool and the next thing you know, people are copying you, even stealing your name, without giving you any credit whatsoever.

Here are just a few blatant examples of people trying to cash in on the BIT-101 name:

Haha. Well, I can say for sure that I didn’t rip off horse supplies or high pressure washing equipment. Had I known about the Hit Bit-101 computer, I might have ripped it off, but honestly I didn’t discover it til much later. I will admit that the “101” aspect of a basic course (English 101, Psych 101), kind of played well into the whole binary thing. But for the most part it was pretty random, and I liked the sound of it. It probabaly would have been bit101, but I think that was taken. There’s some stupid search engine thing there now that probably IS a ripoff at this point!
