Media Elements (no pics unfortunately)

Got back late last night from Media Elements in Enschede, NL. A fantastic time. Really had a great time meeting up with old friends and meeting many new ones. Excellent hospitality and everything seemed very well received by the local students and business people. I look forward to going again next year.

Unfortunately, somewhere between Schipol and Boston, my camera fell out of my bag, along with 200+ photos. I put in a lost and found request, but I have a feeling someone is enjoying their new Canon Powershot A60 camera. 🙁

that sucks keith, and no one will ever believe you now when you tell them you met a real live robot.
must’ve been something about the journey home though?i lost* my laptop.

    * technically i didn’t lose it, but in my sleepless state left it on a railway platform (along with my passport and airplane tickets) i didn’t realize till well after the train had departed, then confused the locals by jumping up and shouting “My Laptop!”, before running to find the conductor. turned out that the good people of the netherlands railways had found it and taken it on a little sightseeing tour. we were eventually reunited at platform 15a at amsterdam central station?big relief.

TWO real live robots! Yeah, the journey home was rough. In addition to losing my camera, I had to wait two hours for my luggage in Philadelphia. Then I had to re-check it in to Boston, but it never arrived there. They are supposed to send it to me today.

Oh well, all in all, it was still worth it.
