Congrats Keith! Of all the games on my phone, Falling Balls and Dust are my two young son’s (2 and 4 years old) favorites. I believe they are great judges of quality.

Congratulation Keith! It’s great to see how you started with Objective-C some weeks ago and how you rock the app store now! Can’t wait to upload my first iPhone app at Apple’s portal today, which will be a free app as well πŸ™‚

Absolutely mind-blowing you went from knowing so little about Objective-C to having a #1 app in what, 3 weeks? Holy cow – congratulations! I’m trying to wrap my head around Objective-C and feel like I picked up a bad case of dyslexia.

Amazing success, nice work! It’s very hard to come up with an original and simple concept like this, but when you do, you strike it rich. =D

Congrats keith just saw that on itunes. You should try out some ad mob for revenue, but this is amazing first try and top app, not bad.

Hi Keith. Congrats on the game. I’ve added it to my iPhone and am enjoying playing it.

One selfish suggestion: if you ever get the time, can you add an option that lets us turn off the sound and play our iTunes music instead? I’m always looking for games that let me do this, as I like some visual stimulation while I’m listening to stuff.

I find that if a game is too complex, I can’t listen to music and play it at the same time. But your simple game would be perfectly suited to that — except that its internal sounds override the music-player’s functionality.

(I’ve heard people say that if you start your own music playing, switch to ANY game, and then double-click the home button, you can hear your music. This is not true, at least for me, and I have the home button set to bring up the music player on double click. If I am playing a game and I double-click home, I do get the music controls. Unfortunately, I also get closed out of the game.)
