Speaking at FiTC Toronto 2008

Well, I’m on the speaker list, so I guess it’s official:

FiTC Toronto is always a highlight of the conference schedule. I’m probably cutting back somewhat on my speaking this year, but wouldn’t miss this one. I’m really psyched about the subject I decided to present on, too. I’ll wait until it’s live on the site before giving away details, but it’s something I’ve been thinking about doing for a while. You know those feedback cards you fill out after you attend a presentation? Well for a several of my presentations, there was a fair bit of criticism that they were “too basic”. So this time I’m going to blow your head off with crazy math. I’m going for feedback like, “I don’t know WTF he was talking about, but it sure looked cool.” 🙂

    my feedback card always says
“I don’t know WTF he was talking about, but it sure looked …
like he was drinking rockstar energy drink for 36 hours straight”.

“Playing With Chaos: Fractals and Strange Attractors in ActionScrip” may want to get the to add that last “t” to your preso title.

And you know better than to play with chaos. It doesn’t share its toys, it never cleans up after itself and time and again it borrows money it never repays.

friggin chaos. owes me twenty bucks.

Hey Hugh, thanks. I’ve been waiting for the description to go up. I just told Shawn I’d like to buy a “t”. 🙂
